A Master's Programme to bring stories to life.
The cinema-audiovisual sector now includes not only cinema and TV series, but also infotainment and branded content products, and it is one of the industries that has grown the most during the past five years, at national and international level. This evolution implies a structural transformation of the sector and increasing attention to the rules of engagement, the new equilibrium between production, traditional and current distribution sector, and the digital streaming platforms, the legal-economic aspects of intellectual property rights. These changes highlight the need to bring highly qualified professionals into the job market.
The Master in Cinema and New formats production aims at training professionals able to cover different roles within this new sector: production secretary, production inspector, production manager, general organizer, production delegate, marketing manager, development manager, acquisition manager, sales agent, creative producer, executive producer, independent producer.
The Master is intended as an advanced training programme in the field of creative development of audiovisual works, their production and distribution management, and budgetary and financial management. It welcomes both those who have studied or worked in the film industry and those who have studied or worked in the management and marketing field.
The programme focuses on strategic aspects related to the production of the various audiovisual formats: films, TV series, web series, documentaries, animation movies, video clips, advertising films, branded content, and includes the techniques of audience design, talent casting, idea development and presentation from a production point of view, pitching to broadcasters, the marketing strategy planning, copyright and intellectual property rights exploitation, with a specific focus on the dynamics of independent production and funding.

Requisiti
In order to access the RUFA first-level Academic Masters programmes, a three-year academic diploma (new system), four-year academic diploma (old system), university degree, or another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable by the Academy in compliance with international agreements, is required.
The Master in Cinema and New formats production prefers knowledge and training in the Cinema, Photography and Audiovisual Area or in the humanities and economics area.
