The Master in "European Affairs and Policies" (MEAP) is a University study programme, designed for graduates & junior professionals, aiming to build a successful career in the "EU Bubble".
MEAP is co-designed and co-organised with the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Parma.
Delivered entirely in English and worth 60 ECTS, the programme provides students with an advanced understanding of European affairs, EU governance, law and policies, geopolitics, competitiveness, innovation, sustainability and strategic autonomy.
The Master grants 60 ECTS and is offered in a blended format, combining on-campus sessions with online learning.
Hands-On Learning
MEAP is an application-focused programme combining lectures with interactive exercises, case studies, project work, and simulations that mirror the daily work of organisations working in the European scenario. This hands-on approach develops critical thinking, soft skills, and real-world insights, preparing students to navigate professional challenges and pursue successful careers in the field of European affairs.
In addition to the core Modules, the programme includes advanced English and Italian language courses (for international students), designed to strengthen communication, interpersonal, and professional skills in multicultural environments.
Study Visits
A hallmark of the programme is the Study Trip to the European Institutions in Brussels (Commission, Parliament, Council, etc.), offering participants first-hand insight into EU decision- making environment and direct engagement with key stakeholders.
The programme also offers other Study Visits to companies and organisations, providing networking opportunities and connection between academic learning and real-world practice.
Traineeship
The programme includes a 250-hour curricular traineeship (10 ECTS), with opportunities available in Italy and abroad, in particular in Brussels.
MEAP graduates unlock a wide range of paths in:

Lectures will be carried out at the headquarters of the European College of Parma, located within the main building of the University of Parma, in Parma city centre.
