Rome Business School inaugurates the new campus: innovative, open to the world, respectful of the Roman tradition

Rome, 14 October 2021. Rome Business School (member of Planeta Formación y Universidad's, an international network created in 2003 by De Agostini and the Planeta Group) opens the doors of its new campus, more than 2500sqm in the heart of Rome, offering MBA, Master and Executive Education.
 

Located in the Prati district, the new campus is ready to welcome over 2,500 students from all over the world every year. Rome Business School is in fact among the most international business schools in the country with 60% of foreign students (in contrast to the national average of 35%).
 

The new campus, of 2500 square meters, developed on a villa built for the Universal Exhibition of 1911 and renovated respecting the essence and historicity of the building, offers students 12 classrooms, a library, meeting spaces for entrepreneurs and a green zone where you can make the most of the opportunities offered by the School. The study and restoration work of the building, which began in November 2020, aimed at safeguarding the aesthetic beauty of the building, and at the same time making it capable of hosting more than 2500 students a year and equipping itself with innovative technologies, ended in June. 2021.
 

The School attracts students from the five continents thanks to its varied educational offer. Currently, RBS trains 1500 students through Masters every year, most of them studying MBA, Marketing, HR, Project Management, Data Science, Fashion & Luxury and Cultural Management. Today RBS makes a qualitative leap where it will not only be the students who will benefit from it, but also the entire city of Rome and so also Italy.
 

In addition, RBS offers a faculty made up of 157 professors, 30% of whom hold PhDs and the remainder made up of industry experts, entrepreneurs, high-level executives and managers of the Corporate Advisory Board (CAB), trained 70. managers of companies such as Starbucks, Jaguar Land Rover, Sky Italia, Bulgari, Coca Cola. That with the CAB, a collaboration that guarantees the implementation of a strategy to continuously improve and innovate the School's offer, tracing the real needs of the labour market, remaining close to the corporate world of Italy and leaving a positive impact on the career. of the students.
 

The new campus of Rome Business School wants to be welcoming and open to the world, presenting itself as a hub of managers and entrepreneurs equipped with the most advanced technologies and spaces dedicated to both study and conviviality, looking towards the future. In fact, the student is also followed thanks to programs such as RBS4Entrepreneurship, where the development of innovative start-ups is supported (in 2021 there were 42 start-up projects presented by students from 48 different countries of which 6 were chosen to be developed with accompaniment from the School); the possibility of being connected with multinationals and authoritative companies such as Eni, Enel, Bulgari, Coca-Cola, Fendi, Tim, American Express, Nike, BNL, Chanel, EY, Deloitte among many others; in addition to the opportunity to carry out international study experiences (Bootcamp / study tour) in Silicon Valley, Dublin, Barcelona and Paris.
 

The inauguration ceremony was chaired by Pietro Boroli, President of De Agostini Editore, who underlined the great work done in the last year despite the pandemic: "the restoration works have given the city of Rome a new campus, and the innovation and technology that characterize the schools and universities of the Planeta De Agostini Group have allowed all our educational realities to grow. We confirm ourselves at the top of European higher education, and with Rome Business School we want to be drivers of development, support and growth of managers from all over the world ".
 

Thanks to the opportunities offered and an exceptional quality of training, the Rome Business School is the only business school in Italy to be accredited by ASFOR for its Executive Master in Marketing and Sales, it is a member of PRME and PMI, and the EFMD has recognized its level of online training with the EOCCS certification. RBS aims to have the MBA accredited by multiple institutions, to expand the educational offer with new and innovative study paths and to expand collaborations and partnerships with other companies, schools, business schools and universities around the world, especially in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

The day ended with the unveiling of the celebratory plaque and a tour through the campus installations telling the story of the building, the various didactic formulas offered, the diversity of the staff, the tools available to students, career services, employability partners and a visit to the panoramic terrace: an investment for Rome, culture and economic and social progress.
